Take a wet, wild, and hilarious ride through the tropical paradise

of Vero Beach with Bob, a wisecracking, film-quoting man-fish. Bob’s misadventure begins when Hannah, a marine biologist, hits him with her car, while Bob, a film buff and “Tom Cruise’s biggest” fan, is walking by the lagoon on his way to see "Mission Impossible 12: Assassin's Run.". Hannah is the widow of a heroic police officer who died saving eleven victims of a tragic boating accident. Hannah is also raising her teenage daughter, Zoe, who is spunky and intelligent but also bitter over the loss of her father. Both mother and daughter are passionate about saving the sea turtles who annually nest in the area but are being tragically impacted by pollution and poachers. After a giant alligator eats a drunk fisherman named Luis, his best friend Hector assumes that Bob devoured his friend and creates a whole legend about a vicious nine foot-tall "Mermaid Chupacabra" who shredded his fishing buddy. Bob is now a wanted man-fish and on the run from big-game mercenary Henri “The Hammerhead” Lebeouf. Hannah and Zoe must help Bob get home while also stopping the turtle poachers who are commanded by a shadowy evil mastermind
